Some mornings just feel magic from the very beginning – and this was one of them.

Talya and Harry had already celebrated their wedding day back in Australia, but they chose to mark the beginning of their honeymoon with a stunning post-wedding honeymoon photoshoot in Queenstown. It was the perfect way to slow things down and soak in the joy, just the two of them.

We met as the sun was rising at the little beach tucked into the edge of Queenstown Gardens. There was a quiet stillness in the air – the kind that only comes at first light. Talya wore a new outfit for the shoot, and they shared an emotional first look by the water that felt like a second “I do.” It was tender, heartfelt, and completely their own.

After they exchanged vows in the soft morning light, we wandered along the lakefront for a relaxed couple shoot. The golden tones over Lake Wakatipu and the gentle lapping of the water made everything feel peaceful and dreamlike.

From there, we headed out to Jacks Point – a location that always delivers. The Remarkables towered behind them as we captured more portraits that felt grounded, windswept, and deeply connected. These weren’t just “pretty photos” – they were moments that honoured everything they’ve shared and everything ahead.
