My goal is always to help you feel relaxed and seen. I’ll offer gentle guidance when you need it, and disappear into the background when the moment calls for it. You don’t need to perform - just be present. I’ll take care of the rest.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve documented over 300 elopements, weddings, and family stories. My work has been featured in Bride and Groom Magazine, Polkadot Bride and Style me Pretty, but the real joy comes from creating images my clients treasure for life.

Hey, I'm Emma - photographer, calm presence, and friendly elopement guide based in Queenstown. I believe the best photos aren't posed - they're felt. Whether you're exchanging vows in the mountains or chasing your little ones along the lakeshore, my job is to quietly capture what matters most.
I’ve photographed hundreds of elopements and family stories across New Zealand and beyond. I bring 12 years of experience and a designer’s eye for composition and emotion. Whether you’re planning a wild helicopter ceremony or a quiet afternoon picnic with your kids, I’ll be there to photograph the in-between magic.

2012
launching the dream
I decided to make photography my full time job and shot my first wedding (for a friend) I was hooked from that first moment, photographing people and weddings is my dream job.
2018
first international Client shoot
I headed to Cuba with Anita and Helena from Auckland based Vinka Design to shoot their lookbook for their latest wedding gown collection.
2021

I photographed an editorial feature for NZ Bride and Groom magazine and one of the images was chosen for the cover as well as a multi-page editorial feature - such a proud moment for me!!
2023
Moved to Queenstown
We relocated to Queenstown, and now live surrounded but Mountains, lakes and stunning landscapes. It's safe to say I'm loving my job more than ever. I do still travel locally and internationally for weddings, elopements and portrait, and my passport is always close to hand!

I'm not afraid to admit it. I have a bunch of dad jokes up my sleeve ready to bring out in any situation. These are guaranteed to either make you laugh or groan but either way they'll distract you from my camera if that's what is needed :)
