Covid and lockdowns prevented these gorgeous lovebird from having their wedding on their original date. Unfortunately their photographer Amy Bailey photography was unable to make their new date and asked me to capture their wedding as her associate. The photography industry in New Zealand is pretty small, and for the last few wedding seasons we have supported each other through the effects of Covid illnesses, lockdowns and travel restrictions.
So many weddings have needed to be rescheduled, and sometimes this has meant that the original photographer has been unavailable. An associate photographer will step in under the original photographer’s brand to capture the day and then the original photographer will edit the photos in their signature style.
Matt and Sahri were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I was so happy to be able to help out and capture their wedding day. I’ve shared a few of my favourites from their day in this post, I hope you enjoy it 🙂
