When Caroline told me that she and Nic were to be married in the tiny chapel at MOTAT in Auckland I was thrilled. As an Auckland wedding photographer, I am always excited when I get the chance to shoot at a new or unique venue, and the historical village at Motat is so pretty.
The beautiful bride and bridesmaid flowers were created by the insanely talented Dianna Marie – Think Flowers. I’m always excited to see her amazing creations, and she did an amazing job for this wedding. Caroline completely stole the show in a bespoke gown created by Anna Schimmel, and emotions ran high when the bride and groom saw each other for the first time walking down the aisle of the tiny chapel.
Nic and Caroline planned a wonderful, and very personal wedding, and from their Vegan Walk and Fork dining, outdoor picnic area and games set up, to their decision not to have a traditional first dance but to mingle and enjoy their evening with their beloved guests, everything was perfect.
